Welcome everybody! We know that the page is undergoing a "change". Isabella, Ryan and the kiddos (Wright Livestock and Farm) is moving back home to California, so we will be combining the two farms under the California family farm, Bydand Farms. Don't let the change in scenery be off putting- it's intentional! We are so excited to have the kids back home!!!!! Stay tuned for updates!

July was a busy month on the farm! In preparation for moving our little farm and family to California ☀️, we downsized our goats. We now only have our herd matriarch, Kebab, left. The flowers have been in full swing, pinks upon pinks upon pinks! Can you tell I have a favorite color? Then, in a surprise check up on our broody hen, we found 27 eggs! There are 23 pictured, and four chicks that had already hatched!

We also found a new favorite treat - CHOCOLATE ORANGE SWIRL BRIOCHE LOAF!!! Oh my goodness, we could not stop eating it! 🍊 🍫

Lastly, we picked up the match made in heaven for kids on a farm with plenty of mud - a wringer washer! We have been loving using it, and there’s nothing like sitting out in the calm of the morning with the swishing of the washer while watching the flock of turkeys explore your… pollination garden… yeah… let’s go with that and not “huge patch of w**ds that you haven’t had time to w**d eat” 🤭

One of our hens had a rough day today! A painful reminder of what’s to come for me in the next month or so 😳

After this baby comes, we will be getting back to the treats and more farm updates!

Are you a health conscious person like us? All of our treats use non-enriched flours, dark chocolate, no seed oils, and are always dye-free!

We’ve been getting busy on the farm! With the wind we’ve had, we’ve had a few trees topple over! Unfortunately, some of them went right for the fences! We’ve got a lot of repairs ahead of us, but the reward is that we can get wood chips, bark, slabs, and ash! All of these are things that are most helpful around a farmstead!
