San TRIFONE (or in English, Saint Tryphon) is a revered Christian martyr from the 3rd century, celebrated for his humility, healing powers, and unwavering faith.
Venerated in the Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox churches, he is known for miracles related to his gift of healing humans and animals, as well as being a protector against evil spirits and pests.
Followers from different parts of the world honor San Trifone as the patron saint of birds (falcons), gardens, farms, grain, vineyards, and other harvested crops.
Today, San Trifone is still celebrated by believers in Turkey, Greece, Montenegro, Bulgaria, Serbia, Russia, various cities in Italy, and even in Los Angeles, California, in the United States.
