Stripped last night. Must’ve gotten a spark from a rock that got into the header and smoldered in the module overnight. Too far gone to save.

It’s been a great Thanksgiving with our family. You’ve seen my crop consultant on here before…. Today he was ready for tractor work! Even repping with his Dryland Dudes sweatshirt!

Thankful for rain even if it shuts down harvest for a while. Not a fan when it blows off module tarps. More rain coming in 2 days so while kids are in school, the wife and I sludge through the mud to fix them, again…

With this crew… those careless w**ds don’t stand a chance. The boys have been hard at it for 2 days and are creating games and having fun along the way. Thankful for their help and good attitudes! 🌱

Working hard or hardly working… I’ll let you decide 😜. Thankful for this silly and fun careless w**d pulling crew.

5” of rain has to go somewhere. Unfortunately, some of that broke into my field despite me building up a burm earlier this spring. Guess I’ll have to patch and make it taller.

If you look closely, you will see 3 generations of Dudensing men working on the last field of cotton harvest together. 3 driving equipment and 2 on the module spraying/raking team. You might also notice that nice brown hue of West Texas wind blowing. 😜💨 Wind and all, we are thankful to the Lord for our family and a safe harvest thus far.

Yesterday we brought in our top crop consultant. He says it’s about that time! Harvest 2024… let’s do this.
