I am honored!! Thank you Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry!!
Today, we recognize Billi Barker of Fire Fly Farm in St. Albans, a farmer, food entrepreneur, and community builder whose work has connected everyone to fresh, local food for decades.
Many know Billi from the Common Ground Country Fair, where she serves beloved favorites like Maine Fish Tacos and Sweet Annie Crowns. Others know her from farmers' markets, where her Yumbus serves crepes crafted from ingredients grown on her own farm and sourced from fellow Maine farmers.
Thank you, Billi, for your dedication to Maine agriculture, local food systems, and the countless people you've inspired along the way.
