👀FIG PRESERVES ARE BACK! Jimmy talks about how he makes his Gator Pickles Jam & Jelly Works Fig Preserves with Louisiana Gold figs. These came from Belle Chasse. Good figs have gotten very hard to get because of the winter conditions we had here in Louisiana. Jimmy cooks them down in sugar and jars them at his place in St. Amant, in the swamp at the Flat Lake/Amite River/Diversion canal watershed.
