I was craving some Crave. A local spot that serves up a fresh and healthy locally sourced menu. They started off as a food truck and now have two brick and mortar locations. One on 135 Kings St and the other on 1835 US-1 #139. Both locations are open Monday thru Saturday 11:00 to 3:30. I had the First Date smoothie, The Dynamite Shrimp wrap and The Stir fry bowl with the grilled chicken. The Dynamite Shrimp Wrap has been my go to since day one the fresh perfectly cooked shrimp, fresh cut veggies and the sesame ginger dressing are quite the pallet pleaser. This time I tried the Stir fry bowl with the all natural grilled chicken which is packed full of flavor. All this talk about fresh local ingredients I think I’m gonna make another run to the Crave. My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at one of our preferred Thai spots in St Augustine, Green Papaya Thai Restaurant. Since its opening, the restaurant has consistently delivered exceptional culinary experiences. The staff's friendly and professional demeanor creates a welcoming atmosphere, complemented by the zen ambiance. Tonight's visit was no different , as we began with a couple of Thai Teas and an assortment of tasty appetizers, including Thai Spring Rolls, Roti, and the Chef's Special Sushi appetizer. For our main course, my wife opted for her favorite Chicken Pad Thai, while I deviated from my usual Drunken Noodle with chicken to try the Thai Basil Beef. Our meals were delivered by the restaurant's robotic server, which added a touch of innovation. The beef was cooked to tender perfection, and the vegetables retained their crisp texture, showcasing the art of wok cooking. The meal was perfectly rounded off with the Mango Sticky Rice dessert. I would rate our overall experience as a 10/10. Regrettably, I did not have any leftovers!

The newest coffee spot in St Johns Refuel Coffee Co. . The wifey and I stopped in for our daily caffeine fix. We tried The Moxie, The Usual and The Charged Chai. All of the beverages were delicious and made with love. The staff were on point. Next time we go I will be trying their breakfast sandwiches and fresh pastries.

Here’s another one of our favorite spots in St Augustine; Neds Southside Kitchen. The menu consists of some great American classics with locally sourced ingredients. My wife’s favorite is the Palm Valley Fish & Grits. This comes with a generous portion of fried flounder, nestled on a bed of creamy grits, collard greens , topped with a Tasso cream. This is definitely the wife’s go to. I change it up Everytime we go this most recent visit I had the Blackened Salmon & Goat Cheese Salad. Some of my other faves are the Prime Rib, Fried Shrimp, Meatloaf, Fish Tacos and the Blackened Fish Wrap. Honestly you can not go wrong with anything on the menu. They also serve brunch on Sundays.
