Most of you know our page is dedicated to sharing family recipes, cooking videos, delicious meals, and the wonderful memories we create together in the kitchen.
But today, we’re stepping outside the kitchen to discuss something far more important: THE SAFETY, PRIVACY, AND PROTECTION OF OUR CHILDREN IN AMERICA’S SCHOOLS! 🏫🇺🇸
As a grandmother of six grandchildren attending elementary, middle, and high schools, I am deeply concerned about reports of s*xual assaults, harassment, and violations of children’s privacy occurring in educational settings.
And I have a question for every parent, grandparent, educator, and concerned American following our page.
🚨 SHOULD CHILDREN OF OPPOSITE BIOLOGICAL SEXES BE REQUIRED TO SHARE SCHOOL BATHROOMS AND LOCKER ROOMS?
Whether we agree or disagree, I genuinely want to hear your opinions. We can discuss difficult subjects respectfully without attacking one another.
🇺🇸 PUBLIC EDUCATION SHOULD BEGIN WITH EDUCATION!
Reading, writing, mathematics, science, American history, civics, constitutional rights, and preparing our children for successful futures!
Schools should work with parents, not dismiss their concerns when questions arise about sensitive instruction, personal boundaries, or student safety.
WHEN DID PROTECTING A CHILD’S PRIVACY BECOME A CONTROVERSIAL ISSUE?
🚨 CONSIDER WHAT HAPPENED IN ROCHESTER, MASSACHUSETTS!
On May 1, 2026, a 9-year-old third-grade girl attending Rochester Memorial School was allegedly exposed while using a bathroom stall.
According to a complaint filed by her parents, Luis and Kerri Rivera, another 9-year-old student who identifies as transgender entered the girls’ restroom, looked beneath the stall, peered through an opening, and pushed open the stall door while their daughter was using the toilet.
The parents reported that they had previously contacted school officials about concerns involving the student’s use of the girls’ restroom.
Imagine being a parent and hearing that your 9-year-old daughter was frightened to use the bathroom at school!
The Riveras filed a federal Title IX complaint. In August 2026, the school district announced that an independent review found no Title IX violation by school officials or administrators.
The family continued challenging the district’s handling of the incident, and their daughter reportedly wrote to President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump asking for help.
MY QUESTION IS SIMPLE: EVEN WHEN A SCHOOL ACTS WITHIN THE LAW, SHOULDN’T PARENTS STILL BE ALLOWED TO QUESTION WHETHER ITS POLICIES ADEQUATELY PROTECT THEIR CHILDREN?
🚨 AND THERE ARE OTHER DISTURBING CASES THAT EVERY PARENT SHOULD KNOW ABOUT!
🇺🇸 LOUDOUN COUNTY, VIRGINIA, 2021
A teenage girl was s*xually assaulted by another student in a high school bathroom. The offender was later transferred to another school, where he s*xually assaulted a second girl.
A special grand jury criticized serious failures in communication, supervision, and administrative decision-making.
🇺🇸 PANAMA CITY, FLORIDA, 2022 TO 2026
Two 14-year-old girls were s*xually assaulted in a high school locker room in November 2022 by a 19-year-old student.
The offender was convicted in May 2026 and sentenced to 30 years in prison in July 2026.
🇺🇸 MISSISSIPPI, 2023
A former elementary school principal at a private academy was sentenced to 30 years in federal prison after secretly recording children in bathrooms and locker rooms.
THINK ABOUT THAT! THESE ARE PLACES WHERE CHILDREN SHOULD BE ABLE TO EXPECT PRIVACY AND PROTECTION!
These crimes involved different circumstances and do not prove that transgender bathroom policies caused the assaults. What they demonstrate is the importance of effective safeguards, responsible school leadership, and immediate action whenever a child reports inappropriate behavior.
THIS IS ABOUT PROTECTING CHILDREN, NOT CONDEMNING CHILDREN FOR THEIR IDENTITY!
Every student, including transgender students, deserves dignity, safety, and an education free from harassment.
But I also believe that girls and boys deserve meaningful privacy when using toilets, showering, or changing clothes, and that parents deserve a voice in how schools establish those boundaries.
🇺🇸 PARENTS SHOULD NEVER HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THEIR CHILD IS HUMILIATED, HARASSED, OR ASSAULTED BEFORE THEIR CONCERNS ARE TAKEN SERIOUSLY!
Our schools should provide secure facilities, appropriate supervision, private changing options, clear reporting procedures, and accountability for misconduct, regardless of who commits it.
❤️ NOW, FROM ONE GRANDPARENT TO ANOTHER, I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!
DO YOU BELIEVE:
1. Boys’ and girls’ school bathrooms and locker rooms should remain separated by biological s*x?
2. Students should be allowed to use facilities that correspond with their gender identity?
3. Schools should provide additional private, single-user facilities to accommodate students while protecting everyone’s privacy?
4. Parents should have a direct voice in the policies affecting their children’s safety and privacy?
🇺🇸 THIS IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO SPEAK UP! WHETHER WE AGREE OR DISAGREE, YOUR VOICE MATTERS!
Our children are not political pawns. They are sons, daughters, grandchildren, students, and the future of our country.
PROTECT OUR CHILDREN! RESPECT OUR PARENTS! HOLD OUR SCHOOLS ACCOUNTABLE!
