This afternoon we hosted the “Premier Exhibitor Award” luncheon at Charlie’s Eatery in Rochester, MN. This event recognizes outstanding FFA exhibitors from the current year at Olmsted County Fair showcasing their hard work and innovative projects. It’s also an opportunity to pave pathways towards rewarding careers in agriculture. Thank you to our local sponsors for their contribution to each award and FFA member!

Earlier this week, Olmsted County Farm Bureau held their Annual Meeting in Eyota, MN. Among the many members in attendance; we hosted current local and state politicians and elected officials or their staff, Minnesota Farm Bureau board members, and our Minnesota Farm Bureau President Dan Glessing. Topics included; public policy, adoption of new resolutions, election of officers, and discussion of old and new business. We look forward to the upcoming year!

It's that time again! We are accepting applications for our Student Ambassador Program for this upcoming school year and following summer. Applications are due August 1st.

Please note, we did change the timeframe of the program this year to better accommodate students and their school schedules. With that in mind, our application is due this summer so PLEASE get the word out to students as we know they are not in school at this time.

Recently, one of our Student Ambassadors (Kari), handed out educational gift bags to a handful of youth in our community. We were also able to provide their classrooms with a few sets of agricultural based children books. The kids were thrilled and we were more than happy to provide these opportunities.

Thank you Kari for your hard work and thank you to our community for allowing us into your lives and letting us help promote the importance of agriculture to our youth.

We are only a few days away from Country Breakfast on the Farm. Come visit our booth and enjoy a wonderful breakfast, live music, animals, and learn more about agriculture. Plus so much more!

Participate in our scavenger hunt to get your name in a drawing for one of our three great gift baskets (winners will be contacted after the event)!

We can't wait to welcome you to the 38th Annual Olmsted County Breakfast on the Farm June 20th, 2026 from 6:30am-11:30am! This years Breakfast on the Farm is hosted by Bryan DeCook & Sons at their Bin Site 9082 80th St. SW Stewartville, MN 55976.
Join us for a breakfast by Chris Cakes, Horse Drawn Wagon Rides, Education Agricultural Displays & Exhibits, Live Music by Clay Fulton Music, AND MORE!
Breakfast is $8 for Adults, $5 for Kids ages 5-12 and Kids under 5 are free. There is no cost to come check out the farm if you don't want breakfast!
Come kick off Rochesterfest and enjoy a morning on the farm!
