is so excited, today is the first day of ! He celebrated by visiting the grains display at the MN State Fair, where he felt right at home, by the way. You can celebrate with a sandwich made on his Mulitgrain Bread for dinner! 😋

Loafy's making himself something a bit more healthy or breakfast this morning:

Orange Oven French Toast

Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons honey
3 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup orange juice
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon grated orange peel
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
8 slices Country Hearth 100% Whole Wheat Bread

Directions:
Heat oven to 400. In small bowl, combine butter, 1 teaspoon cinnamon and honey; mix well. Pour mixture evenly into an ungreased 15 x 10 x 1 inch baking pan. In medium bowl, beat eggs slightly. Add milk, orange juice, sugar, orange peel, salt and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon; mix well. Dip each slice of bread in egg mixture, turning to coat both sides. Place on butter mixture in pan. Pour any remaining egg mixture over bread. Bake for 10 minutes. Turn slices over, bake an additional 10 minutes or until golden brown.
