Hinzeville Reg. Holsteins & Linebacks

Hinzeville Holsteins and Linebacks is owned and operated by Dave and Jacki Meinert, with the help of their 3 daughters: Amber (28), Brooke (26),and Carly (20). We milk around 75 cows and carry a 28,000 pound rolling herd average and 100 SCC. Our cattle are housed and milked twice a day in a 62 stall stanchion/tie-stall barn. We also do all of our own crops, and also, Dave, enjoys doing custom harv

esting for friends and neighbors. We pride ourselves on providing the best quality milk for our consumer and providing outstanding care and optimal living environment for our cattle. We keep our standards high and always strive to be even better. We raise Holstein and Lineback breed cattle. Lineback Cattle originate from Holland and are most commonly known for their "skunk stripe" or white stripe down their back (hence line-back!). They come in many pattern varieties. Besides their good looks, Linebacks produce a lot of milk like the Holstein breed, but also, we have seen that they are hardier, tougher, animals and have stronger feet and legs. We also have a few Angus, Dutch Belted, and Milking Shorthorn Purebreds and Crossbreds in the herd. We love what we do, and even with the long hours we always do the best we can for our cows and for our farm. Corners are never cut, and expections are always high. Cows are treated like they are part of the family, because without them and without them happy, we (along with every farmer out there) would be out of business.
