Chore time~ Last night was riding out to bring mineral and checking calves and cows. We let them into a new paddock yesterday and they could not complain about anything! The Lord has blessed us with some rain again. We are going to get some hot days but unlike us.... the cows are not anxious about tomorrow. We can learn from them! Have a blessed day everyone! 🥰

We have two remaining yearlings that should make good herd bulls. CTR 1939 Tradesman N501 Not registered but out of Innisfail Trademark 1913 ET (AI) and maternal sire - NJW Historic 81E . DOB: 1/27/25 - Birth Weight: 83 lbs Dark cherry red, calving ease, and goggle eyed. The second is CTR 3034 Fwd King N514 P44668026 DOB: 4/15/25 Birthweight: 71 lbs. Out of our Churchill Kingdom son purchased from Thomas Herefords. Maternal Sire - C Miles Mckee. He is very thick and moderate. Both have good temperaments. Chore time ~ the cows finally got their way - Out to pasture! They may as well enjoy it while they can, as it is very dry here and the grasses are green but headed out already. God willing we will not have a long dry spell. Praying for those parts of the country that have severe drought.
