TEN YEARS 🎉 Ten years married, ten years running a farm, and ten years growing our cashmere goat herd. You know what? I honestly thought the herd would be bigger, the bags of cashmere would be more plentiful, and the instagram more beautiful by this point. But there’s always the next ten years, right?!

Surely not the same goat?! We welcomed Torbjorn, a buck bred by us, back to our farm this fall. We were surprised when we looked up his baby pictures and he had changed colors to the deep Irish Setter red we so enjoy. Did not see that coming! Torbjorn will be our breeding buck this year and so all 2025 offspring will be sired by him! Hint: the lighter color is not residual from his baby days but his cashmere fiber color.
