It will come as no surprise to anyone that I neglected to take even one picture at the show today 🤦🏼‍♀️
Bunny Boonanza is the West Feliciana Rabbit Club fundraiser that helps our club have money for parish judges and fun things throughout the year. The other goal is that it gives kiddos a chance to practice and have more exposure to ARBA like shows, and what a fun experience it is! This year our illustrious leader was able to secure Mr Tony Bell, an ARBA judge, for the show.
Olivia brought some of her buns that don’t get out much so they were excited to see the table. Lops in the Ville’s Chewbacca was BOB and Olivia was able to compete in showmanship and the costume contest 🙂
And as always the most fun part of the show is spending time with all her sweet friends! Congratulations to everyone and special shout out to Olivia’s friend Serenity for Olivia’s favorite new rabbit shirt!
On to the next….

MSRBA’s shows are one of our favorites. It’s a great venue and great judges and they put on a well organized and fun show. Yesterday did not disappoint!!
Our rabbit support peep couldn’t come 😢 but the other half of Mad Hatter Farms joined us instead. We were also missing the wonderful Miss Rachael Close so Olivia spent a large portion of her time hanging out with her very favorites, Miss Kelly and Happy Hills Miss Rhonda.
Lots of progress with Olivia’s herd, with a show every weekend in October she is splitting up her show team so as not to stress them out. So she went with 4.

LIV’s Backup was 1st SJB in Show A with Judge Cheryl LIV’s Chewy was BOSV in show C with Judge Kathleen (Olivia also got to write with her on Friday)

And mom’s favorite Hunny Buns Rex was consistently at the top of his class which was a first for him. Usually he is either top or bottom depending on what the judge likes. So we learned a lot about things that get better with age 😂 kinda like Cici

Thanks to all the amazing mentors who pour their knowledge and kindness into Olivia, there are no words to convey the appreciation. 🥰🥰
Congrats to everyone!! See you in the spring!
On to the next…

Once we got there she realized she brought all homegrowns which Liv said was one of her favorite parts 🥰
Got to experience new judges too which is always good and Olivia got to write for one of her favorites, Judge Chyann Stewart.

Happy Belated Birthday to Southern Spice’s Rider!
This spunky buck is super special. Not only because he came from the most wonderful Rachael Close but because he is the first rabbit that Olivia picked all by herself as a parts rabbit. She knew she needed better ears and tighter crowns and she picked well! He is one of her main bucks. And grew out better than we could have hoped for.
He is also the only buck in the barn who sprays (knock on all the 🪵 ) so he’s super lucky we love him.

It’s show season again!! It has been such a long, hot summer with many rabbitry challenges but the season is here again!
The Longview, Tx Cajuns vs Cowboys show last year was an experience and Liv is usually itching to show after a long summer of hot. Texas is serious showing!! We mostly go so Liv can see her favorite open breeders and her rabbit friends and maybe have some different judges. Mission Accomplished and more!
Liv had some judges she hasn’t had before and her little junior buck was 1st in show B with Judge Gail!!
So excited to see everyone, especially Rachel and Kelly and missing Miss Rhonda!
Congratulations Rachel and Chloe and Kennedy!!Here’s to a great season!
As usual no pictures of rabbits 🤦🏼‍♀️ and forgot to take a pic heading into Texas but remembered in Louisiana, the universe gave us a rainbow and we always remember Cici. Guess remembering pictures is on the to do list this year.
Cici has had a whole makeover getting ready for show season and as always was ⭐️of the show…
