The radish mix shown below is bold, spicy, and not easily tamed into a box!

The kale mix is more understated — both in flavor and appearance. And the mustard mix lands somewhere in between.

If you stopped by earlier looking for microgreens and found the stand closed, my apologies — I didn’t have time to open before work. We’re open now this afternoon and all day tomorrow if you’d like to dress up your meals this weekend.

It's been a quiet winter here...but not without a little movement.

Somewhere along the way, the farmstand shifted 😉 and it's got a whole new view now. Feels like a fresh perspective for the season ahead.

To mark the moment, I've tucked a cooler out there with some fresh Microgreens. 🌱

Not quite open for the season yet... but it felt like a good day to open the door a crack.

Our Microgreens trials continue! These two ounce packages are tightly packed with nutrients - cram them into a sandwich, add them to your smoothie, or elevate any meal with a sprinkling of Microgreens on top. 🌱🌱🌱

Soon you'll be able to order them from the new Cabell Farm website but for now send a message if you want some. Until the farmstand opens in May, delivery is available or you can arrange to pick up.

This week we have Kale, next week we should have some new varieties ready to go.

P.S. We'll be changing the name of Martinsville Market to Cabell Farm on social media next week. 🗓️

A little update and a little harvest!

I'm in the midst of transitioning Martinsville Market to Cabell Farm - it's a small shift toward the farmstead I envision here, though most things will stay familiar in the farmstand.

As we head toward the season I'm trialing microgreens and will have small amounts available for purchase as I fine tune my systems. They are already sporting the new label so it felt like a perfect time to share a peek at what's coming.

No baked goods this weekend but we have coastal gift wrap, cards, tags, wreaths, candles and other holiday decor. 🕯️ 🦞
