Out of control grass fires have caused some tense moments and challenges for us this weekend. So happy that there has been no loss of life of livestock or major structures. Praise God!!! Thanks to all of the first responders… you all are amazing!!! Even with all that calving must go on.

You can always count on having twin lambs on days like this!!! Zero outside and 6” of snow. We got them to both to a warmer spot now and they are both doing great!!! Cows are also enjoying a drink here before sundown tonight. So happy for our no freeze waterers!

We had a productive day at the farm yesterday. We processed all of our turkeys just in time for Thanksgiving and welcomed our first newborn lamb this fall.

Kids found some morel mushrooms this morning! Yum 😋 We got some good rain today and temps will heat up tomorrow. Hopefully we can hunt some more around the farm!
