The biggest question I get is, “how can you butcher them knowing who they are”- it’s all a mindset game. We purchase TBone with the intent of butchering him at 2yo, that’s what you do with angus steers. I didn’t think it would be easy for me, but knowing WHERE my food came from and HOW it was raised made it worth it for me… plus he was an a$$hole, so that kinda helped 🤣🤣.

Goal for this week: get all of the brush pushed into one pile. 🪾🚜

We got this area cleared in the spring, let the 3 piles dry out and burned them 2 weeks ago. Now it’s time to stack & burn them again. Thankfully the excavator has AC though, because phew 😮‍💨🥵
