We are doing a group order for steers ready for pick up Saturday November 9. Please DM if interested.

Hi folks, time to fill up freezers with Stu the Steer 5.0. Here are the terms:

—Cost is $4.50 a pound hanging weight.

—Steer(s) ordered are grain finished and we will aim for a live weight around 1,000lbs.

— Math time. Hanging weight is an estimated 60% of live weight. So you pay $4.50 a pound on 600 pounds. Take home weight is estimated at 80% of hanging weight. So that’s 480lbs of meat per steer. This includes bones and organ meat. THIS IS A ROUGH ESTIMATE BASED ON YEARS OF DOING THIS.

— Cost per entire steer at hanging weight is $2,700. We are offering 1/4 to the entire steer.

— You will get about 60% ground and 40% steaks, roasts, ribs, brisket.

— You MUST pick up on the final date we decide. We don’t have freezer space to store or hold meat for people.

—There is a $300 deposit to buy in that’s due TBD.

— Ground beef is 80/20 and packaged individually at 1lb. All steaks are cut at the thickest we can and packaged individually.

—Each steer produces two briskets. If you order a 1/4 you are not guaranteed a brisket.

—Cut list, we get as many cuts as possible to minimize ground meat. I will do some chili meat cuts as it’s nice to have some. https://dpmeatworks.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/Blank-Cut-Order-Form.pdf.

EDIT; all piggies are gone!

Full Kune piglet flash sale!
🙌
BOTTLE BABY piglets, very friendly & easy to handle. 😍 Normally we sell these for $300. Today, make a -reasonable- offer and let's talk! 😮 NOT FREE but I'm willing to discuss significant discounts. 😁 This is on a cash-sale, no-refunds, FCFS basis. Feel free to pm me an offer but an agreement on price in no way guarantees a pig will be here later. NO HOLDS. Visits will begin this afternoon.

You will need a lamb bottle and milk replacer to feed these piglets. They are not on solid food yet.

Register for the upcoming hog class and we'll talk even deeper discounts!

Feel free to share to your friends!

Hi folks, time to fill up freezers with Stu the Steer 4.0. Here are the terms:

I only have one 1/4 spot available pending deposits.

—Cost is $4.35 a pound hanging weight. $4.00 is for the steer and butcher costs. The other .35 cents is to cover time and gas costs to pick up the steer. If you volunteer to load/unload and sort, the extra .35 cents will be waived.

—Steer(s) ordered are grain finished and we will aim for a live weight around 1,200lbs.

— Total cost per pound take home comes down to a range of $5.44 to $7.50 per pound. Why the difference? It all has to do with the steer, butcher, drainage, etc. Considering the quality of the meat, that’s a heck of a deal with all the yummy cuts included.

— You will get about 60% ground and 40% steaks, roasts, ribs, brisket and organs.

— You MUST pick up 09/02. I don’t have freezer space to store or hold meat for people.

—There is a $300 deposit to buy in that’s due 08/10/23.

— Ground beef is 80/20 and packaged individually at 1lb. All steaks are cut at the thickest we can and packaged individually.

—Each steer produces two briskets. If you want a brisket, we do a drawing to make it equitable.

—Cut list, we get as many cuts as possible to minimize ground meat. I will do some chili meat cuts as it’s nice to have some.https://dpmeatworks.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Blank-Cut-Order-Form.pdf
