🎥 October 11, 2023 — Nope, not footage from today, but from two years ago.

It was harvest day for our ‘23 Montecillo Cabernet, and to me, Massimo’s face that morning says it all: joy, focus, and the promise of something special.

Fast forward to today, and that promise has been realized. JamesSuckling.com just named our 2023 Montecillo Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon #41 on the Top 100 Wines of the USA 2025 with a 96-point score.

They called this year’s list “luxurious yet attainable,” and we couldn’t be prouder to see our take on the among such company.

Tomorrow is a special day for us at Di Costanzo. We have the privilege of releasing three new wines, and we don’t use that word lightly.

After 15 years of making Di Costanzo wines, we know that simply getting to the finish line each season is an achievement. But with these three wines, we did more than that - we honored our craft, our instincts, and the trust placed in us by our growers and supporters.

These wines were shaped by time, experience, and, importantly, the tools of our new winery space. Both the 2022 and 2023 vintages reflect that extra care, and we couldn’t be prouder to share them with you:

▫️2023 DI CO Deering Vineyard Chardonnay
▫️2023 Costa Bentrock Vineyard Pinot Noir

They are a high water mark for us—wines with presence, energy, and an unmistakable sense of place. We hope they find a home with those who appreciate the journey behind every bottle.

Fun fact: I once had this song stuck in my head for a year and hummed it to anyone who would tolerate me in the hopes I would remember what it was called. Finally it popped up on a shuffle mix and I was, at last, at peace.

Anyway, please see this amazingly gorgeous organic, dry-farmed Cabernet from up at the historic Montecillo Vineyard in Moon Mountain, snapped just this morning. 2024 looks to be giving Di Costanzo a healthy and heavy crop load. A few days to go…
