our 2017 Sparkling Brut 2G: a fresh vintage and a new look, just in time for Mothers Day!! 🍾🍾

We all have mothers in our lives who are the blueprint! Ehren’s mother, Lucille Jordan, was just that. A creative, a lifelong learner, and a self made woman in her own right, we honor her this Mother’s Day through one of her beautiful water color paintings to give our beloved bubbles a refresh.

“2G” refers to the dosage…only 2 grams of sugar! This vintage follows suit from the previous two - a 50/50 blend of high elevation Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from an epic coastal site adjacent to our own Estate property in Fort Ross-Seaview, Bohan Vineyard.

Let’s celebrate all the rockstar mothers out there and make Mother’s Day SPARKLE ✨🥂

What an honor to be included as one of five Napa Valley producers involved in the American Express HARVEST Napa Experience!!!

We kicked off the weekend with an afternoon welcome event at Meadwood Napa Valley, where we kept the good times, and the Failla wines flowing.

A wonderful weekend filled with good wine and company alike, curated by the equally wonderful Amex team.

it’s time for a Harvest Check In!!

Our 2025 Harvest season is chugging along nicely, thanks to our wonderful vineyard and production teams, including our youngest and most passionate tractor aficionado, Mason (pictured).

EJ estimates we are already at the halfway mark in California! Picking is nearing completion at sites including Olivet Ranch, Estate Vineyard in Ft Ross Seaview, and Savoy Vineyard in Anderson Valley.

After a big day of sampling to start the week, the jury is still out on the colder sites like Pearlessence, Occidental Ridge, and Canfield. Given our unusually cool summer, EJ says we could still be weeks away from these picks.

Meanwhile, up in Oregon, we kicked off the harvest earlier this week on Monday!

So in other words…we’re busy!!!

Veraison is upon us!!! 🍇

It’s that time again when we start to see our fruit changing color, indicating our proximity to ripeness and the harvest months!!! It goes without saying that this also means the fruit is getting sweeter and in turn, little hands descend on the vines. Only to sample, of course ;)
