Just about two more weeks before we officially kick off Harvest 2026!

It's been an interesting growing year, with a heatwave early-on in March, a cool and foggy April, followed by steady temperatures ever since, creating an early start to bloom and a few less berries pollinated. Overall, it'll be a little bit of a smaller yield, but the fruit we have is looking excellent.

Kelly joins Pride with more than 25 years of accounting experience and over a decade of leadership in the wine industry. She brings a thoughtful, collaborative approach to her work, and a great passion for wine. We are so happy to have her as part of the team!

This event focused on the blending process and a look into our newest Summit wine- a limited release blend of our top cabernet sauvignon lots. We planted baby viognier vines in our “North Terraces” block last week. In our ongoing quest to achieve peak performance in each of our vineyard blocks, we need to replant our oldest vines from time to time as those older vines develop trunk disease (a fungal infection) or otherwise become “tired”. The old vines in this block that were removed last month were initially planted in 1998. Four years from now, in the 2030 vintage, these babies will be mature and producing beautiful viognier. Here is to the future of amazing wine at Pride Mountain Vineyards!
