Family-owned in Napa Valley since 1905, we have four generations of history. We farm 80 acres of vineyards and craft small-lot wines from our grapes.

day - Monday, by appointment from 10am - 4pm. Guests can enjoy a relaxing experience overlooking our vineyard while tasting wine. We welcome all wine lovers from beginners to advanced to visit our St. Helena estate. Here are a few wines we make: Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Zinfandel, Merlot, Petite Sirah, Malbec, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Sauvignon.

At Ballentine Vineyards, we farm 75 acres across 3 estate vineyards and grow 8 different grape varietals right here in Napa Valley. 🍇

Our days are warm, our nights cool, and yes...the fog likes to make an appearance sometimes too. Turns out, the grapes absolutely love it.

From crisp Chenin Blanc and floral Malvasia Bianca to bold Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Zinfandel, Malbec, and Merlot, there’s a wine for every kind of wine lover here.

Sparkling wine is good for celebrations. Sparkling Malvasia is good for absolutely no reason at all. Bright, floral, energetic, and just fun and plain delicious.

There’s just something magical about opening a bottle of wine and sharing it with friends, both old and new. Even if you’re not in Napa Valley, a good bottle of wine has a way of bringing people together.

For four generations, our family has been honored to be part of so many people’s wine journey. Honestly, it feels pretty special to make something people get excited about, gather around, and want to share with the people they love.

Our estate wines start with all the hard work in the vineyards. And this year? Our vines are SO happy. Napa Valley warmed up fast and everything is growing like crazy right now.

This time of year, we are “suckering” the vines. Sounds funny, but it is one of the most important things we do behind the scenes. We remove unnecessary growth that steals energy away from the grapes so the vine can focus on producing the best fruit possible. Bonus: the rows start looking extra tidy too.

A lot of little decisions and long vineyard days go into every bottle we make. This is just one of them. Stay tuned for more fun vineyard updates because honestly, things are getting exciting out there. 🍇☀️

Our 2023 Sparkling Malvasia Bianca is officially in bottle! Each one represents two years of patience, precision, and a little sparkle waiting to be revealed.

Grown in Betty’s Vineyard (featured in the background) and crafted using méthode traditionalle, we set out to do this wine the right way, from vine to bottle.

Beautifully aromatic, with delicate, tiny bubbles, this wine is truly a cause for celebration. Here’s a peek at those final touches before it makes its way into your glass.
