At Grounded Wine Co., the focus stays close to the source, the soil, climate, and growing conditions all influence what you get in your glass. Our Grounded Cabernet Sauvignon brings depth with dark fruit and spice, the Space Age Rosé shows brighter notes like strawberry and citrus, and our Grounded Sauvignon Blanc is known for its crisp lemon and stone fruit character.

A quick reintroduction to the owner and winemaker behind Grounded Wine Co, Josh Phelps.

Josh’s roots run deep. Raised in a winemaking family in Napa Valley, he was introduced to the industry early on, spending time in the vineyards, around the cellar, and alongside the people who helped shape the region. He went on to study business, worked harvests, sold wine, and began making small batches with his father, Chris Phelps. That hands-on approach, paired with years of building relationships with growers, is what led to starting Grounded.

At the end of the day, the goal has always been the same. Grounded wines are clean, balanced, and approachable, with an emphasis on quality and experience.

This is a radio.
This is a bottle of Public Radio.

The name comes from something personal. The call letters on the label trace back to Josh’s grandfather and his time as an amateur radio enthusiast.

It’s a Rhône-style red blend from Paso Robles, built around Syrah with Grenache and Mourvèdre. The wine is layered and balanced, with dark fruit, a little spice, and enough structure to hold up with food, but easy enough to open on its own.

Like good radio, it’s something you come back to.
