In the heart of the United States: Twenty Years of Cain Five.
Tonight, Katie Lazar will host an intimate dinner at Pane e Vino with Cain Five spanning two decades, from 1998 to 2018.
It’s a rare event and an honor for Cain.
Featured this evening are two iconic cool-climate vintages, 1998 & 1999.
Chris Howell, Wine-Grower, and husband of Katie writes, “Both ’98 & ’99 were relatively late, slow ripening vintages, the kind that yield long-lived wines. Already, at about ten years of age, many sommeliers were heard to say that although these vintages had been initially dismissed, they are now among their favorites.
