This is literally the dream… Cabernet Franc, planted with passion in the heart of Napa Valley! 🍇✨

“Plantation en foule”—literally, planting “in a crowd”—is an ancestral approach where vines grow close together, without the strict rows we recognize in most vineyards today.

What fascinates me is this connection between the past and the future: the intimacy of each vine, the attention it invites, and our ambition to create truly exceptional Cabernet Franc.

Last night, we brought the Napa Fragrance perfumery experience to Pelican Hill for a private client event overlooking the Pacific coast.

Inspired by Italian nights, we created Notte — a custom perfume composition designed especially for the Italian themed occasion. As the sun set, guests explored a collection of accords and personalized the Notte composition to create a fragrance entirely their own.

From Napa Valley and beyond, our team brings the art of home and body perfumery wherever the occasion takes us.

🪄 movement in the barrel… a beautiful dimension in your glass! 🍷✨

Here I am practicing bâtonnage, the French tradition of gently stirring the fine lees, the sediment composed largely of yeast that settles at the bottom of the barrel after fermentation. With this special stirring wand, I bring those lees back into suspension, encouraging greater texture, complexity and a sumptuous, silky mouthfeel as the w**e ages.

A gesture rooted in my native Burgundy… where patience, intuition and savoir-faire turn the smallest movements into extraordinary sensations. This is the art of texture ! JCB By Jean-Charles Boisset

At the French Ambassador’s private residence in Washington, D.C., a beautiful celebration of Fred Ryan as he received the Légion d’Honneur—a richly deserved recognition of his contributions to Franco-American friendship, from the Reagan presidency to today.

A tribute made all the more meaningful by his family, sharing in the pride and joy of this milestone. Alongside them, the images of Lafayette, the Statue of Liberty, and the medal itself tell a larger story: generations united by liberty, courage, and friendship.

From sugar to alcohol 🍇 the art of barrel fermentation.

During fermentation, natural yeast transforms the grapes natural sugars into alcohol. The vessel we choose helps shape the w**es flavor and texture along the way.

Stainless steel provides a neutral environment, keeping the focus on the fruit. For this w**e, we chose Limousin oak barrels from central France for the texture and complexity they contribute. We’re seeking a rich, layered expression with nutty notes and hints of honey and brioche.

Fermenting in these barrels introduces the oaks influence from the very beginning, allowing it to develop alongside the fruit and become an integrated part of the w**e 🥂
