Could You Be the Next Chapter of Big River Taproom?

This week has been one of the most emotional and heartwarming weeks of my life. Watching so many of you come through the doors one last time, share memories, raise a glass, and remind me what Big River Taproom has meant to this community has been an incredible gift.

This week proved something I already knew in my heart: Big River Taproom isn't just a restaurant. It's a gathering place. That's something worth preserving.

As my chapter comes to a close, I find myself hoping this isn't the end of the story.
I'm looking for the right person to carry Big River Taproom forward. This is a fully built-out, turnkey restaurant and bar with established branding, a loyal customer base, and a community that's showing this week just how much they care about this place.

The timing is especially compelling. A new owner who moves quickly still has the opportunity to be operating and ready for Halloween Town—St. Helens' signature season.

Our final day of service at Big River Taproom.

If you've been thinking about stopping in one last time, today is your chance to share a meal, raise a glass, and help us close this chapter surrounded by the community that made it all worthwhile.

We'll be serving until we sell out, so some menu items and beverages may disappear throughout the day. The good news is we'll have plenty of our Chicago Dogs, burgers, fries, our popular clam chowder, and several of our favorite menu items ready to go.

We'll also have a couple of our remaining Oregon wines available at the front bar while they last.

Whether you've been with us since day one or discovered us just last week, thank you for every visit, every conversation, every celebration, every live music night, and every bit of support you've shown us.

Let's make today one to remember.

What a night. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who packed the Taproom last night for live music. The room was full, the energy was incredible, and seeing so many familiar faces meant more than we can say.

One unexpected thing happened—we completely ran through our beer. Thankfully, our friends and neighbors at Crooked Creek Brewery came to the rescue. When they heard what had happened, they rolled over a couple of kegs so we could keep serving everyone. That's the kind of community that makes St. Helens so special, and we're incredibly grateful.

So today we've got fresh Crooked Creek beer on tap—a crisp Pilsner and a rich Stout—our full food menu is available, and we're making a fresh batch of our clam chowder this morning.

If you came out last night, thank you. We'd love to see you again this weekend. If you've been thinking about stopping by one more time, today is a wonderful day to do it.

Tonight at 5:00, we'll also open the Limerick Whiskey Room and Tap Into Wine one final time. It'll be the last evening our little speakeasy-style bar welcomes guests, and we'd love to raise one last glass with everyone who made it such a special place over the years.

Every conversation, every pint, every glass of wine, every meal, and every memory means the world to us.

🎶 Our Final Night of Live Music at Big River Taproom

Join us tonight at 6:00 PM as we close out an unforgettable chapter with one final performance on the BRT Stage.

Brooks Hill, featuring Brad Price and Donny Wright, will bring an evening of country, folk, and Americana to the Taproom. For this special farewell performance, they'll be joined by special guest Cindy Banks.

It's only fitting that we celebrate our final night surrounded by live music, good friends, great food, and the community that has filled this room with so many wonderful memories over the years.

Please arrive early, as seating is limited.

Thank you for making Big River Taproom a place where music, laughter, and friendships found a home. We can't think of a better way to spend one last Friday night together. ❤️

To our Big River Taproom family,

After many wonderful years serving the St. Helens community, this weekend will be Big River Taproom's final week in business under current ownership.

While we've explored every opportunity to continue, it's time to close this chapter. It has been an incredible privilege to be part of this community, and we'd be honored to have the opportunity to serve you one last time.

If Big River Taproom has been part of your story, whether you've celebrated milestones here, met friends over a pint, discovered your favorite Chicago dog, enjoyed live music, or simply made us part of your routine, we'd love to see you this week.

We'll be open Wednesday through Sunday, and on Friday we'll host one final night of live music on the BRT Stage with one of our favorite duos Brad & Donny, joined by a very special guest. Our hope is to fill the Taproom one last time with great music, delicious food, cold drinks, laughter, and the incredible community that has made this place feel like home.

Throughout our final week, we'll be serving our regular menu and beverages while supplies last. If there's a favorite meal, beer, cocktail, or glass of wine you've been meaning to enjoy again, we encourage you to stop in earlier in the week.
