For those wondering about money and payouts. All money is in the hands of Knights and they will be responsible for getting it to Yvette. Arena fees were able to be donated to Yvette as the fairgrounds covered facility use fees, MBHA covered barrel race insurance, I covered breakaway insurance, and John Weber filled his tractor with fuel for us. Here are the payouts. Added money for Saturday was from donors to the AJ Memorial Race. Added money for Sunday was from several different people who wanted to stay anonymous and add to the pot for all of those who stayed through the weekend. Again, thank you all for coming out! Any additional payout questions can be messaged to me or I would encourage you to go to MBHAs rule book on their website as those are the standards I follow.

Sundays results!! Thank you everyone for coming out! There are so many people who pitched in so many different ways! Thank you Lake County Fairgrounds for donating the facility fees, Ross Gillin for making the water truck available (Mother Nature did the work for us but knowing it was there for use was a huge burden lifted), John Weber at Post Creek Supply for getting us a tractor, DuMonts for the disc and tractor to rip up the hard pan, MBHA 05 for donating back, Ashley Anderson for donated money to the breakaway fast times and getting the breakaway going, Dutch and Anne Lunak for bringing calves down, Jimi Champ and Dan Bird for letting us use the calves, Megan Lunak Smalls for being so willing to help and get the cattle in motion, Theresa Yerian for timing, Wendy McCaffree for the extra set of eyes and the knowledge/experience you bring, each person who stepped into the arena to set a barrel or help with the breakaway,to everyone who donated their winnings back, to each person who entered your entry mattered, to each person who ate at the concession stands and to everyone who pitched in at the silent auction! Thank you!!! Yvette is so loved and I’m so glad to see everyone rallying around her.

Just a little side note - I won’t be accepting my PURPLE poker chips for time onlies this weekend. Typically I allow racers to hold onto unused chips and allow them to be used at a future race if they’d like. We will be using a different color poker chip this weekend to make sure all of the time only money gets to the benefit fund and is not from a previous payment. Anyone that is not wanting to run, but wants to do time onlies, as always, you are more than welcome! Come sign an entry form, pay the arena fee and buy as many time onlies as you’d like!
