Foaling Manager
Terry Bradshaw Quarter Horses (TBQH) – Saint Jo, Texas
Terry Bradshaw Quarter Horses is growing and seeking a dedicated, hardworking, and dependable individual to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about horses, enjoys hands-on work, and thrives in a fast-paced breeding and foaling environment.
The position plays a critical role in the care and management of pregnant mares and newborn foals while supporting the daily operations of our breeding program. This position requires excellent observation skills, sound decision-making abilities, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to horse care.
Qualifications
• Previous horse experience required
• Foaling and breeding experience preferred, but the right candidate will receive training
• Basic understanding of horse feeding, grooming, and daily care
• Knowledge of equine anatomy, health, and behavior
• Experience administering IM and IV injections preferred but not required for hire
• Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
