Ultimate Water Solutions is excited to announce the “Official News” we have decided to bring water purification to Arizona and Las Vegas in 2026. People have asked, and we listened. We are teaming up with the Ultimate in plumbing, lets all welcome Gene from Foster's Plumbing in Arizona and Anthony who owns Royalty Plumbing in Las Vegas. We decided to serve our growing population of customers who want the ultimate in water purification. The new business model will help us get the word out. The new sales team for Arizona and Las Vegas will be announced soon. We are also adding some exciting new technology for our customers. This new technology is capable of providing complete protection against plumbing leaks. More information will follow. We will also have more personal customization options. As technology advances, we also feel it’s important to have the most advanced water treatment systems available to our customers. For those who still believe that all they need is a cheap water softener, we will have training videos and comprehensive literature coming to show that other options are available. This also ensures your system has the latest updates. We would also like to thank everyone for being loyal customers who want and appreciate the Ultimate Water Solution. It has taken over 12 years to show people the difference between just softening water and how we treat city and well water. The process of cleaning water, then softening water, combines two important components: removing harmful chemicals from the water, then using ion exchange to soften the water. This process costs more for us, but our customers are worth the added costs. Once again, thank you to those who have let us earn your trust. To determine the right size water softener, you need to know your household's daily water usage. Once you have that number, multiply it by the water hardness of \(38\) GPG (grains per gallon) to find the daily softening requirement. For example, a family of four using an average of \(80\) gallons per person per day would have a daily requirement of \(12,160\) grains (\(4\text{\ people}\times 80\text{\ gal/person}\times 38\text{\ GPG}\)). You would then choose a softener with a capacity of at least this amount, such as a \(64,000\)-grain unit, which is a common size for larger households with hard water,

Yes, chlorine damages water softener resin because it is a powerful oxidizer that degrades the resin beads over time, shortening their lifespan and reducing their effectiveness. This damage can cause the resin beads to become mushy, swell, and break apart, a process that can be accelerated by high chlorine levels. To protect your resin, it is recommended to remove chlorine from your water before it reaches the softener by installing a pre-filter, such as an activated carbon filter.
Or by installing a hybrid water system that combines whole house carbon filtration and softening in one tank.
