Golden Belt Feeders is seeking a full-time Cattle Clerk for feed yard located in rural Stafford County.

Job Overview: Golden Belt Feeders is seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented Cattle Clerk to join our team. The Cattle Clerk would be responsible for administrative tasks associated with incoming/outgoing cattle transactions and daily cattle accounting duties.

Key Responsibilities:
📌Record and maintain accurate cattle shipping, receiving, processing, lot movements, and daily feeding records using feed yard accounting software.
📌Apply proceeds to cattle lots and disburse funds to customers.
📌Receive inventory items
📌Assist with accounting month-end billing and reconciliations
📌Support HR and the office with administrative and receptionist tasks as needed

Skills & Qualifications:
🔴High School diploma or equivalent required.
🔴2 years experience in bookkeeping/clerical work or equivalent in education/training
🔴Proficient with 10 key calculator
🔴Experienced in Microsoft Excel, Word and various office software
🔴Familiarity with livestock industry preferred but not required.
🔴Experience working with Accu-track & Turnkey accounting system preferred but not required
🔴Good communication and collaboration skills with a diverse group of individuals
🔴Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment
🔴Role may require early mornings, evening and weekends as necessary.
