Not food.. but there was plenty of food there!

I am not really even sure how to describe this day. It was.. well magical. 35 dreamers from Dreams Come True of Jacksonville, Inc.walked down the red carpet with their favorite character escorting them. There was music and dancing and so much more to this than I can describe.. and that was on the outside of . And then you enter the building.. and it was so much more! Fantasy lands full of treats and food and drinks and dancing and characters and yes.. dinosaurs too! What a morning and how awesome PRI productions was to host this and start it back up better and more involved than ever before! Happy to be there.. still in awe!

What a fun place to eat! Saint Marc in Jacksonville gets a shout out! I was truly fascinated watching the chefs prepare the final touches on the plates (think The Bear level of specific finishing) and how they sent the dishes out all at once! We were 6 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their apps, meals and deserts! High level service (seriously made it work for us to sit together) and a lovely ambience.

What a fun time today at this new place! So it has changed ownership and names many, many times but now I think k they have a winner! And the location is prime! Off the plaza in St Augustine and right at Aviles street. Food was excellent.. everyone enjoyed it. Drinks were also very tasty and reasonable actually.. $8 for Tito’s … such a steal. The bar manager, Kaiser (spelling?) was so entertaining and enthusiastic about the new reorg.. and our waitress Kaidan (again spelling?) was on it. Will go again and try more… and again and again. Oh yes.. the art work was fantastic… and they sell it too. Live music on Saturday was a great touch and she was very talented. Very much enjoyed our meal!

Birmingham, Alabama:
What a great first night spent in Birmingham, Al. First off, this town is a foodie haven.. James Beard award winning chefs, Michelin guide listed restaurants and areas around downtown that are solid and gaining notice! Hot and Hot Fish Club is no exception. We were able to get reservations at the chefs table and what a fun experience. While watching these pros work we got to speak to the masters and get recommendations on what to try and all of it was .. well great! This place has been serving great food since 1994 and are located in the artsy Pepper Place district. We started with bread service and grilled pork belly appetizer. For our meals we had the Southern Bouillabaisse and the Wood-fired New York Strip. Both dishes we full of tasty pairings and everything delicious. Finished the evening with a French pressed coffee and a strawberry Cobbler. Truly a must go! Hot and Hot Fish Club

This review is from our 3 day foodie trip in Tampa. Fl.

This place just opened and was so full of life and positivity I was happy to be there! Every one got something different.. it's a large menu and I opted for an Adeni (tea/shai) that was a black tea base, cream and cardamom .. she asked my sweetness level and I said 25%. The counter server answered all of questions and although they were stupid busy, she helped us like we the only ones there. The place has plenty of seating and beautifully decorated. They opened one closer to me I found out so I excited I don't have to wait until I am back in Tampa to try other things!

So many good treats and helpful counter service.. you just pick what you want! Arabic themed desserts, candy and goodies await. I wanted to try it all!!

We really enjoyed it. The waitstaff were wonderful explaining everything. And love all the Russian decor! We started with Adjaruli khachapuri (Georgian boat share bread with mozzarella and feta on top and then further topped with an egg yolk and opted for the salmon gravlox to accompany it. We also had the Siberian Pelmani which are traditional Russian dumplings with a pork and beef filling. I had had these with different filling but we all agreed these were not our favorite flavor. For dinner we had Golubzy (stuffed cabbage) , Siberian style cod patties with a cabbage salad and kotlety, high are beef meatballs. I opted for a very yummy dark Kozel beer. Oh, and on table are these dry treats called Baranki that you can snack on while you wait for your food!
Would go back again and try other dishes for sure.

This post is part of the three day foodie tour we did in Tampa. This place is whimsical and fun with good food too! Counter service to order but they bring it your table. Everything is a bit Alice in Wonderland.. painted doors that were walls , a full kitchen but was no functional and painted to look so. Everything black and white and seriously gives cartoon feel. We opted for an order of pan seared dumplings and krab Rangoons -then a green garden salad add shrimp, so fresh and so good.

3 day food diary while visiting Tampa. We always stop in at Mr. Dunderbak’s for German food and beer.. a great combo for sure! So much personality in this place.. it really is a must see. And the accordion player was a great added touch. But the food.. it’s so so good! Pirogies, potato pancakes, house made apple sauce, cabbage salad, schnitzel, pork chops, sausages and pretzel bread are just a few amazing choices.. and all full of flavor and so very yummy. My choice of beer was a dark lager but they also have a great variety of non alcoholic beers as well! Go. Enjoy! Thank me later… Mr. Dunderbak's

Great place.. fun atmosphere and my goodness this server WORKED hard to serve us and the huge rush we came in with. We really never wanted for anything.. food was hot, tasty and huge. Perfect stop on a road trip that took us a route we had never been and a lot longer than planned but was happy to hit this spot. Did I mention the size of my sandwich?!?! Definitely recommend. Oh and if you are a Flyers fan.. even better! For those who do not know hockey .. Philadelphia Flyers!
