While runners are thinking about miles, the farm is thinking about pumpkins.

September may feel a long way off, but out here, fall doesn't happen overnight. Apples, pumpkins, sunflowers, and corn mazes all take a little planning, a little patience, and hopefully a little cooperation from Mother Nature.

The good news? Things are looking promising. By race weekend, the orchards should be full, the pumpkins should be showing off, and the farm should be settling into one of its favorite times of year.

The Orchard Run was created to give runners a chance to experience all of it. A morning run through the orchards. Fresh cider waiting at the finish. A day spent enjoying everything that makes a Michigan fall weekend special.
