Grab a pie pumpkin and make your own pumpkin pie easily (each pumpkin makes about 2 pies.

How to Bake the Pumpkin:

Preheat your oven to 350°F.
Wash the pumpkin thoroughly.
Cut the pumpkin in half and scoop out the seeds and stringy pulp. An ice cream scoop works well for this.
Place the halves cut-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 45–60 minutes, or until the flesh is tender when pierced with a fork.
Allow to cool, then scoop out the flesh and puree until smooth.
Measure out and make your pie.
