Forest Mushrooms is having a banner season on foraged Chicken of the Woods and Hen of the Woods from the oak forests surrounding our farm in central MN! We have plenty to spare for pickup at our farm in rural St. Joseph, MN or for shipping on SpeeDee Delivery throughout MN, WI, IL and Iowa. $6.00/lb with a 3 lb minimum. Shipping additional but SpeeDee cost is very reasonable and overnight with ice packs included at no charge.

Visit the French Meadow Bakery stand at the Minnesota State Fair and sample their vegan and gluten free “Shroomy Calamari” made with oyster mushrooms from Forest Mushrooms of St. Joseph, MN! This tasty delicacy was introduced in 2024 and was selected for a return appearance in 2025! The most popular state fair in the nation runs August 21 to Labor Day.

The basket consists of 4 lbs of fresh specialty mushrooms including oyster, shiitake, crimini, maitake, white beech and foraged chanterelles. We can make custom mushroom baskets for unique gift items as well!
