How About Positive

I know I need it. I tried to do a video with this guy three times. I just can't get the words out yet without tears so we get pictures.

This handsome little buck is offspring of Bella Rose Kieran and Bella Rose Blossom. He will be 8 weeks old tomorrow. He is trying to worm his way into my heart. I let him know that he had huge shoes to fill to be like his papa.

I am blessed to have several of BR Kieran's offspring in my barns. Plus Polyanthus is due with his last litter on October 27th. I will be holding several back and grow them out for at least 3 months.

BR Rewby has a litter of BR Kieran's grandbunnies. They are 4 weeks old. One has been meeting me a the cage door and greeting me with licks. There are going to be some very tough decisions in the upcoming days with these precious ones.

I am hopeful that one will come close to filling the hole that BR Kieran left.

**** ASSUMED STOLEN ****

I have sadly had to accept that Baloo was most likely stolen. Several told me he was but it is hard for me to fathom someone being so cruel. I am crushed and still in disbelief.

I will most likely never know what the thief's purpose is. Maybe just intimidated by a gorgeous blue Rex buck competing at ARBA Shows. It's all guesses swirling in my head.

To the thief, you are not victorious. I will continue to better my lines and show my rabbits. They will never be left overnight again for you to prey on. Yes, I will still be at Rex Nationals, Lord willing, and I will be padlocking every cage my rabbits are in. I do not wish bad for you, but I do pray your conscientious kicks in at some point. I will be contacting all Humane Societies in our area. Should you decide to make it right and anonymously return him, he will make his way back home.

Yes, I have been MIA. It's been a tough year to say the least. On the tail of losing my amazing Bella Rose Kieran, I now have BR Baloo who is missing. Yes, missing.

I neglected to close the latch on his carrier Friday night when setting up at the fairgrounds for the Saturday show.
To my dismay, his cage was empty when we arrived Saturday morning. He was no where to be found. We searched for him for hours to no avail. To say I am distraught is an understatement.

The Fairgrounds is aware of the situation and I have posted in groups around the Kennewick, Washington area. If you know anyone in that area, would you please share this link with them?

Thank you to all who have checked in on me. I appreciate it. My MIA status is not changing for the moment.

Kennewick Show

Looking forward to a weekend distraction. Lots of rabbits entered.
