Forster Farm We are a family farm the raises the best sweet corn, vegetables and pumpkins Our farm has been in the family for over 100 years.

It started as a subsistence farm in 1904 by my great grand father Ambrose Forster. When my grandfather Hank (Henry) Forster took over the farm in the late 1920's he converted it to a dairy operation with 20 cows. Hank retired from farming around 1972 and sold off the herd. For the next approximately 35 years the fields were fallowed and were cut twice a year to prevent trees from reclaiming the f

ields. It was during this period of time that I, Tony D'Amore, grew up on an empty farm hearing stories of what it was like in its heyday. By the early 90's I had reached the appropriate age and was taught how to drive the tractors and how to mow the fields. In 2002 grandpa passed away and a few years later I was entrusted with preserving the family farm. In 2006 I plowed up an acre using the 1950's equipment that was my grandfathers. I planted sweet corn and pie pumpkins. With the help of friends and family, I kept expanding the operation until the entire farm was being used again. We now have acres of pie pumpkins, sweet corn and an 1.5 acre garden full of produce that is sold on the farm at our retail stand from July until October every year.

Peppers: green and red bell, habanero, sweet snacking, jalapeño and cherry bomb. Plus sweet and hot banana peppers in half bushels ($20), pecks ($12).

The yard is stocked with lots of pumpkins and mums with more pumpkins being hauled down daily (if the rain ever stops).

We also have white, yellow and red potatoes available in 10&50 pound bags.
