About KC Farm
Established in 2025, KC Farm is a small family and veteran-owned farm built on a lifelong passion for raising animals and creating a place where quality, care, and responsible husbandry come first.
For over a decade, animals have always been a part of my life — from chickens and other birds to a growing collection of farm animals that have shaped the foundation of what would eventually become KC Farm. When Christopher and I started our life together nearly 8 years ago, I brought along more than just dreams of a farm — I brought about 20 chickens and a coop. Although life changes led us to the city limits of Columbia, South Carolina, and our flock had to be reduced, the love for raising animals never left.
Over the years, through many seasons of change, we continued growing our little farm one animal at a time. What started with chickens has expanded to include ducks, pheasants, and other unique and rare birds. Each addition has helped us build toward our bigger vision: creating a sustainable, family-centered farm focused on raising healthy, well-cared-for animals.
KC Farm — named for Kaitlyn and Christopher — represents our shared passion and dedication to building something meaningful for the future. We are excited to begin our journey into raising registered Nigerian Dwarf goats, with a focus on quality, responsible breeding, and preserving the wonderful traits that make this breed so special.
We are proud of the small farm we have created and look forward to sharing our animals, our progress, and our journey with fellow animal lovers and the farming community.
