I’m grateful to have been included in Dan Kraker’s piece for MPR regarding green burial in Minnesota!

Neighbors to the 20-acre rural site have raised concerns about water quality and animals digging up the bodies. The proposed developers say opposition is based on fears that are unfounded and say they haven’t been treated fairly.

Inspired Journeys is honored to assist the family of Marisa Casebolt.

Marisa Ardys Casebolt, age 25, of Minneapolis, died tragically on September 4, 2025. Marisa was a loving partner to Jeremiah, mother of Inde and Makwa, sister of Dale, Blaze, and Channa; and she leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends who will cherish her memory.

Wake services will be held on Thursday, September 18, at Church of Gichitwaa Kateri, 3045 Park Ave., Minneapolis, with visitation beginning at 4:30pm and prayers at 5:30pm. Traveling prayers will follow on Friday, September 19 at 11am at church.
