Fall beers are here! New to our taps and coolers, Festbier and Märzen 🍻 Both are decoction-mashed traditional German Oktoberfest Lagers; Festbier is lighter and Märzen is richer and more old school. (Beer mustaches are a gift with purchase 😉)

💡What is decocting? It’s a process of taking grain from the mash, boiling it, and returning it to the mash to increase the temperature. This darkens the color while increasing the flavor and aromatics and adding nuance. 🍂

Both beers are on tap now ahead of Fall Fest! That’s coming up soon, on September 26! See you there!

THURSDAY: As a part of the Highland District Council’s Summer Thursdays, we’ve got live music! 🎶 The Women’s Drum Center kicks us off at 5:30, followed by a performance by The Space Force. 🧩 At 7, join Sarah Does Puzzles for a speed jigsaw competition! Sign up in advance and see how fast your team can finish a 500-piece puzzle for a prize! 🏆
SUNDAY: Queen Sadie McKay hosts charity bingo! Suggested $5 donation per card. 🌈 This week benefits Neighborhood House! We’ll also be collecting donations Friday through the end of bingo. 🥰 At 1, Humble Hounds will be here with adoptable dogs looking for forever homes! 🐶

The next puzzle beer is coming soon! Wandering Leaf Brewing Company and I are collaborating on a fantastic sour that should be tapping in early September. Can you guess what the flavor is? We already have a name for this one, but drop your best puzzle brew beer names in the comments!

🎶LIVE MUSIC is coming back to our patio!🎶 Next Thursday, August 13, join us and the Highland District Council for an evening of live performance, tasty treats and delicious beer. ✨ Family friendly and FREE to attend! 💚

🪘MUSIC: The Women’s Drum Center ‘s Djembe Diyamu ensemble will kick us off at 5:30pm, followed by music from The Space Force! 🚀

😋 FOOD: Grumpy Claude’s Caribbean, Que Tal Street Eats, Highland Popcorn and Cold Front Ice Cream food trucks will all be on site, plus Soul Lao is open next door!

🍻 BEER: We’ve got plenty to enjoy in the WLBC taproom. New releases include our Amber Ale Stump Thumping, Hazy IPA Ambrosia and Pickle Theory, our cucumber dill Gose! 🥒 Plus, Hot Girl Summer is on sale all summer! 🌶️
