FAR NORTH SPIRITS gives us a whole lot more to celebrate with their single varietal whiskeys.
“At the northernmost estate distillery in the contiguous U.S., We’re not just making whiskey, we’re rewriting its origin story.”
Between their estate grown heirloom varietals, the open pollinated and bee friendly farming, and that they are a Minnesota farm distillery tending every step of the way from grain to glass, Far North Spirits reminds us that drinking is an agricultural act as well as a rewarding one when the distiller is also the farmer and a devoted whiskey drinker.
Mike Swanson’s limited edition expressions have continued to awe whiskey lovers’ palates, fellow distillers, as well as many award winning restaurateurs nationwide to put our beloved state and little Hallock, MN on the international whiskey map!
NEW! Far North Single Varietal Rosen Straight Rye | 47% ABV

Far North Single Varietal Hazlet Bonded | 50% ABV
One of the first 95% rye mash bills our distiller ever created, this expression has aged into a powerhouse. With rich caramel and crème brûlée on the nose and notes of cognac and vanilla caviar, it showcases the flavor strength of our flagship grain: AC Hazlet Winter Rye. Bottled in Bond. Four years old. Estate Grown. Bee Friendly. 100 Proof!
NEW! Far North Single Varietal Musketeer Bonded | 50% ABV
A premier winter rye variety prized for its remarkable cold-hardiness and robust flavor, making it a natural choice for our northern Minnesota farm distillery. Aged 4+ years in Minnesota oak barrels from Black Swan Cooperage. An aromatic blend of sandalwood and warm baking spices—clove and allspice—lifted by a vibrant, fruity finish of apricot and sour cherry.
Far North Spirits have us beaming with Minnesota pride and are just the amber waves of grain to help us celebrate semiquincentennial.
