Today, we stand alongside our Minneapolis community as we mark one year since the tragic loss of Harper Moyski and Fletcher Merkel to gun violence.

Their deaths deeply impacted our city and touched countless lives. The ripple effects continue to be felt by families, schools, neighbors, and members of our own Wedge community.

As a new school year begins, we are holding the students, staff, and families of Annunciation Catholic School, along with all Minneapolis schools, in our hearts. We wish you a safe year ahead filled with growth and hope.

Annunciation Catholic School is asking community members to honor this day through acts of service in the places where you live, work, worship, learn, and gather. Together, even small acts of kindness can help strengthen the community we all share.

We are excited to introduce seven candidates running in our Twin Cities Co-op Partners Board of Directors election coming up this fall.

Each of these candidates are engaged members of our Wedge Co-op community, and bring experience in strategic planning, financial management, business growth, and community organizing.

What sets our co-op apart is that we’re owned by you, our members! You elect our Board of Directors, shaping the policies and direction of our co-op. Three seats are up for election this year.

Voting will open September 23 and run through our Annual Meeting on October 21, 2026.

Our August Change Matters partner is Midwest Food Connection, bringing classroom food education to students in Twin Cities schools for over thirty years. Midwest Food Connection inspires young people to deepen their relationship with food in ways that benefit their bodies, their communities, and the earth. Through hands-on activities like cooking, gardening, and art, children learn about fresh foods and get excited about making healthy food choices. Round up at the register in any amount!

Wonderstate Coffee will also donate 10% of all sales to Midwest Food Connection in August. 🫶🏽
