As a Hmong woman chef who grew up around immigrant food traditions, this kind of event means so much to me. Food has always been more than just meals it’s memory, survival, love, and the way our stories are passed down through generations. I feel truly honored to be part of and connected to this immigrant kitchen community space and the Minnesota Historical Society produced podcast that celebrates culture and the people behind it.

This night meant everything.
A full five-course Christmas dinner, surrounded by laughter, love, and the people who make it all possible.
Cooking is one thing but creating an experience, a memory… that’s why I do this.
So thankful for my amazing team who helped bring this vision to life.
I can’t wait to create the next five-course experience.
