No rest for the wicked!
Fresh off an incredible week at the American Royal World Series of Barbecue, it was right back to work at Sizzlin' on 66 in Granite City, Illinois!
Rolled in around 8:00 Friday night, jumped straight into prep, and finally wrapped everything up around 1:00 AM. Grabbed a couple hours of sleep, fired up the smokers, and went right back at it!
All that hard work and lack of sleep paid off!
🐔 Chicken - 8th place Mister Brisket, Inc. Springer Mountain Farms
🍖 Ribs - 16th place
🐖 Pork - 10th place Prairie Fresh
🐄 Brisket - 3rd place Korte Meat Processing Snake River Farms
Overall - 4th place
Congratulations to our friends Take It Easy BBQ on GC and Three Stooges BBQ Competition Team on RGC
Brisket is staying HOT after that 11th-place finish in the world at the Royal! 🔥
4th overall is my best finish so far in my rookie pro season! To come off a week like the American Royal, running on very little sleep, and put together my best overall finish yet feels pretty dang good!
Still learning, still grinding, and still chasing that first GC! One cook at a time, we're getting closer! 💪🔥
