Always nice competing close to home, and yesterday was a good one for team RobbieQ!

Made the trip to Newton, Illinois this weekend for an absolutely phenomenal contest put on by Jim Messina and crew. They knocked it out of the park — great contest from start to finish! 👏🔥

We managed to hear our name called twice, including a PERFECT 180 in Chicken.

Definitely a moment I’m proud of! The other two categories didn’t treat us quite as kindly 😂, but that’s competition BBQ — take the wins, learn from the rest, and keep grinding.
