Nothing like a good plant hair cut! The passion fruit vine needed some love from our farm crew. 🌱💕

What a year!

We’ve produced more food and gotten it to more mouths with our Community Supported Agriculture and Free Harvest Stand programs (2007 lbs!), composted tons of food waste (~40,000 lbs!), expanded our educational reach to include new classes and majors (51 classes, 16 majors), hosted and participated many events on and off campus (63!), strengthened our ecological resilience and infrastructure, supported the college’s recruitment and advancement programs, and provided life-changing professional experiences for 26 student employees!

Phew! Couldn’t have done it all without the best crew and the best Farm Manager, Maggie!

Is it time for summer yet??

We always save the best for last!

To our seniors, all of your dedication and hard work has finally paid off. In exactly 6 days we will be saying farewell to some of our favorite farm faces. We just want to thank you all for what you have brought to the farm! We are so proud of each and every one of you and can’t wait to see where life takes you!

Maddie, thank you for always having a smile on your face. Your kind soul warms this space and we miss it dearly come next week. You are always ready to help where it’s needed! 💛

Bella, thank you for managing the U-pick garden. This space allows students, staff, and faculty alike to harvest beautiful produce. Your passion for creating this space is inspiring! 🥕

Lucian, thank you for tending to our gold mine. Your love for the farm and the compost is infectious. Your joyous spirit will live within the trees even after you leave. Thank you for always making even the compost shifts something to look forward to.🪏

Calli, thank you for your hard work and leadership. You always make sure that things get done. Your s***k and laughter keeps us going even on the hard days. Don’t worry the tomatoes will be in good hands! 🍅

Megan, thank you for your kindness. You constantly make people feel welcome in this space. Your dedication to the farm never goes unnoticed. The tractor as well as the rest of the team will miss your presence! 🚜

Priya, thank you for your love for our baby seedlings in the greenhouse! Our seedlings always need our tender love and care, and you are always there! Yours calming energy always brings us back down to earth when things get a little stressful! 🌱

Emma, thankfully we have you for another semester! But thank you for your never ending commitment to the farm. Weather we are harvesting or weeding, we can always count on you to pitch in wherever is needed! 🌼
