My insurance company arranged for meals to be delivered to me post op. I have been out of hospital for1.5 weeks. My first delivery was scheduled to arrive on Sept 15. NOTHING> Next, due to weather, Sept 16. Nothing. Next, reschedule to Sept 18. NOTHING. Beginning to think there will be no delivery, but insurance is being charged. Have spoken with customer service, they have no explanation, only Fed Ex problem. I doubt that. Not sure this company is really legitimate.
Service in Ohio is nothing to talk about. 1st order was via FedEx took 4 days and was defrosted. Replacement order went to wrong billing address and not the service address. Your office did not have phone number of your driver so could not change it (you should have a way to contact your drivers) and both times you sent 14 days when we requested 7 days (very small freezer). Hoping the second replacement order is correct now that we had to ask for a manager to correct everything.
Your driver in Belton, MO just went into oncoming traffic, in a school zone, speeding to get around the school drop off line! 🤬
Do not order anything from these people. They scheduled a delivery for Wednesday, July 9 and missed the delivery because of "problems". They rescheduled the delivery for Friday (today), but I received a call at 11:30 AM saying they had attempted a delivery, but no one was home. I was here, in fact I was working in my driveway. No vehicle came to my house this morning. When pressed, the GAFoods representative called me a liar, saying that the delivery was attempted and that I was not here. I tried to provide directions, but the rep retorted "we have your address." I don't do business with folks who call me a liar. Forget this place and perhaps they need a GOFUNDME account to fund a new GPS for their driver.
I had just gotten out of the hospital 2 weeks ago, and I received a text stating my insurance company had paid for 2 weeks worth of free food. I couldn't believe it, thought it was a scam. Well I did take their call from GA Foods and I have to tell you I just started eating the food last night. The food is fantastic, It is really helping me get back on my feet after being on a liquid diet. I can't say enough about this product!!! I do have a freezer so storing it was not a problem. I would love to purchase some of this for my elderly mother. Thank you so much!!!
Food is terrible. Not even worth going into all the reasons. They should not be in business!
These people such and so does the food. You never know when they are going to show up. I sit here hungry . The food has globs of some kind of jelly looking something in the food. Poor quality.
I received a package of food that I did not order!!!!!!!
Anyone else get a text or phone call from someone claiming to be with this company and wanting to verify an address for food delivery from Aetna? I tried to return the call I got, but the person spoke too quickly and incoherently to get the number accurately and no phone number for GA Foods is even close to what I thought she said. I've not been hospitalized and the only info I can find about this is in regards to a hospitalization. Is Aetna really providing members with free meals because of the pandemic? Or is this a scam? It would be helpful to address this somewhere either way. It's good information for people to have, if it's legit or not!
Ga foods has called me 2 different times to deliver my post surgery meals. Never received any meals. Not a very efficient company.

GA food Service out of St. Petersburg, FL ..... delivering 20 meals, 14 pints of milk, 6 4oz. containers of juices, 2 diced pineapple cups, 2 loaves of bread, numerous tiny cups of 48% vegetable oil “butter”. a “benefit” from my health insurance plan after a short stay in the hospital. Per a phone conversation on the 22nd, all was to be delivered to my house by Saturday, the 25th, packed in dry ice. Nothing on Saturday, nothing on Sunday, called on Monday morning, “where’s my package and when was it actually shipped?” Per Jenny, items were packed Sunday and should arrive “soon”. Received 📦 a short while later via FedEx. Box was so heavy my daughter had a hard time getting it in the house. And, as I had suspected, nothing was frozen! Even the dry ice packs were empty and flat as pancakes. All the cardboard was soaked and soggy! Called GA food service. The box was packed on Thursday the 23rd, not Sunday the 26th! And shipped via FedEx in a non-refrigerated vehicle during a heat wave from Florida to Maine! All the meals, “butter”, and milk had to be thrown away! What a waste! And my insurance company is paying for this service! My insurance company is filing complaint against the food service. To top it all off the food service asked is they could ship another replacement package! You can only imagine what I told them to do with their service!!
