RoundUp's main ingredient is glyphosate. About 300 MILLION POUNDS of it are dumped on crops of all kinds each year. It is worth looking into this possibly carcinogenic substance and avoiding it if you can. My personal conviction is that it is not of God and supports an industry doing many unholy things (too many to list here). You can identify conventional from GMO by the PLU code. I personally try to go with organic if the price is not way higher than conventional. Sometimes I make exceptions but I always buy organic wheat, corn, soy, sugar, oats, beans, yellow squash and zucchini. These crops are largely GMO and they are doused with RoundUp which penetrates the foliage and settles in the plant to work systemically.

I've been eating a lot of Barney Butter lately. My favorite quick breakfast is a quartered Ambrosia apple with almond butter. But here's some baked goods I recently put together. Almond butter chocolate chip cookies and Banana almond butter bread grilled in butter and topped with maple syrup. Served with jasmine, chamomile and lavender green tea.

I'm calling this The WTF Salad.
Arugula, broccoli sprouts, lemon hummus, carrots, tomatoes, Fresno peppers, chicken flavored rice, parmesan, pistachios, ranch and balsamic reduction. Yep. Pictured dressed and undressed of course (how else?)

My once-famous and soon to be again Kitchen Sink Cookies! I made this batch to surprise my workmates tomorrow. I'm going to bring in the dough and bake them in the toaster oven so the smell creeps up on them while they are working :) They have chocolate, dried cherries, and toasted oats, almonds and coconut.

This is why I'm so discouraged for CONSTANTLY trying to keep up with what big business is doing with our food. When one thing becomes taboo they find another equally disgusting and dangerous thing to take it's place. No difference. It just *sounds* better. How does one keep up with all this stuff? Easy. You can't. That's the point.
