On March 3, 2015 Michael Picard made a life-changing decision to purchase a considerable amount of land and to build a business, literally, out of the ground. With the support of his family and the help of the Franklin County community, Picard Family Farm, LLC made its debut in early spring with a few jars of "home grown" maple syrup. Construction began to renew the house and to bring the many acr

es of land back to it's workable glory. Pigs and chickens were purchased and sales began in no time at all! Without suprise, the success of Picard Family Farm was noticed throughout Saint Regis Falls, several areas in Upstate New York, the capital region, and beyond. Although business only began just a few short months ago, it has flourished. Michael and his team are excited about the fast growth of the business and gladly accept any challenges that come their way. Though we are not sure exactly what the future holds, we do know that Picard Family Farm will continue to work to ensure our small-town American family farm remains a trusted and reliable business. Our products are naturally raised and grown without pesticides, antibiotics, or growth hormones of any kind. The livestock are fed a strict vegetarian diet with unlimited access to our many open pastures.
