Have no fear, WE’RE STILL HERE! 📍

We spent the last three days cheering on our very own Emmi as she competed in the Top Gun All American softball tournament. They didn’t bring home the gold but they played incredible and we are so proud of her ❤️🥎

A huge shoutout to Morgan and Jesse from Eadytown Hen House for stopping over, checking on everyone, keeping everyone fed and watered, and collecting eggs while we were away.

Here’s some beauties collected over the weekend 🌈🥚🧺 We have at least one new olive layer too! 🫒

We had some extreme heat 🥵 here in South Carolina with numerous days above 100 🌡️ ☀️

A DOZEN backyard-mix chicken eggs have officially entered the incubator! 🫣🥚🐣

This guy hasn’t gotten his formal introduction yet sooo meet Judge! 🐕

Judge is a 9 month old Great Pyrenees who joins us from a local rescue. Judge was born at the rescue and has grown up with livestock guardian dogs protecting chicken, ducks, turkeys, quail, and goats. 🐓 🦆 🦃 🐐

If you’ve followed us for a bit you already know we lost numerous grow outs this spring that were able to get through the fence. We’ve got a menacing fox (or 5) and a bob cat has recently been making himself known at night.

Judge joins us just in time to start protecting our breeding flocks as we start preparing for that project.

We are so excited to have Judge here. He’s already making himself at home and starting to get comfortable with our resident dogs and family 🤍 Judge will require some additional training as he learns his new flock and boundaries while still getting that teenage puppy energy out.
