Another FANTASTIC weekend is in the books at Grandpa’s Pumpkin Patch at Boulder Crest Farm, and we are feeling incredibly grateful!

Just when we thought last weekend was busy…you all showed up AGAIN! 😂🎃

There is something pretty special about looking around the farm and seeing families picking out pumpkins, kids running around excited about which one they’re taking home, people snapping fall pictures, and cars coming and going all weekend long. 🍂📸

Some of you were visiting us for the very first time, while others have made Grandpa’s Pumpkin Patch part of your fall tradition year after year.

We appreciate every single one of you. 🧡

🎃🧡 WOW…WHAT A WEEKEND! 🧡🎃

We just want to take a minute this morning to say THANK YOU!
What an incredibly busy weekend at Grandpa’s Pumpkin Patch at Bouldercrest Farm! 🍂

We saw so many familiar faces, met lots of new families, watched kids search for that perfect pumpkin, and saw plenty of pictures being taken at our fall backdrops. 📸🎃

There were pumpkins heading home by the wagonload, sourdough and baked goods disappearing from the shelves, and lots of fall decorating supplies finding their way to new front porches. 🧡

As a small, family-run pumpkin patch, weekends like this mean more to us than you probably realize.

Every pumpkin you purchase, every loaf of bread you take home, every friend you tell about us, every post you share, and every year that you choose to come back helps support our little family farm.

We are incredibly grateful. 🧡

Today or over the course of this next weekend - take a little trip to Grandpa's Pumpkin Patch at Bouldercrest Farm and build your own fall porch display!

Here's the challenge:
🍂 Grab a straw bale(s) - $7.00
🌽 Add a corn shock(s) - $7.00
🎃 Pick a few pumpkins — mix up the colors & sizes!
💚 Tuck in a couple gourds
🏡 Take it all home and CREATE!

🎃🧡 76 PRESCHOOLERS + A PUMPKIN PATCH = A WHOLE LOT OF FUN! 🧡🎃

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming 76 preschoolers, along with their teachers, paras, parents and additional volunteers, out to the farm for a fall field trip! 🍂🎃

And can we just say...
Preschoolers are SO STINKING CUTE!! 😂🧡

At one point, my husband and I looked at each other, chuckled and said, “It’s like herding a bunch of cats!” 😂

They’re excited about the pumpkins.
Then they see something else.
Then their friend finds something.
Then someone needs to tell you something VERY important.
Then suddenly everybody is going in a different direction. 😂🎃

But in all seriousness...
🏆 These teachers and paras deserve the PATIENCE AWARD OF THE YEAR! 🏆

Watching them keep 76 excited little ones organized, engaged and moving in roughly the same direction 😆 gave us an entirely new appreciation for what they do every single day.
And the kiddos did AMAZING! 🧡

They learned a little about the farm, received a coloring book on how pumpkins grow, explored the patch to pick their very own pumpkin, enjoyed all things fall and brought SO much energy and excitement with them.

We had an absolute BLAST having everyone out and are so thankful they chose Grandpa’s Pumpkin Patch for their fall field trip! 🎃🍂

And guess what...
TODAY WE GET TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN! 😂🙌

Feelings of gratitude! Morning mass for my mom, beautiful weather, and a constant flow of traffic at the patch. We are all restocked and ready to welcome preschoolers tomorrow and Tuesday!! Bring on demonstrations on the life cycle of a pumpkin!!
