Be still my heart. This little lady was dam raised but you wouldn't think so. Gosh. This girl is already showing beautiful lines, very promising udder and is simply gorgeous to look at. I called her MINE the second she was born. She knows her name and comes when called. I just can't say enough about this sweet girl. I feel like I hit the jackpot with this girl. Really feeling good about a future linear appraisal and milk test for this girl and her counterpart, Squish.

It's time for a little update!
Back in January somehow our buck was left out of his pen without his billy shield on.. then we caught him running around without it on. Somehow he managed to slip out of it.. 🤦‍♀️. We do not like to breed our girls right back. We like them to have the summer and fall off. No kids. No milking. Just enjoying life and summer. Well.. we currently have 4 brand new kids available in 6-8 weeks with 1 more doe to kid. We will NOT have kids available again until next May or June. We plan to breed them in January.

Everything is so green and beautiful. The herd was not impressed with the storm today but the sun came out enough to get some nice updates. We will no longer be offering poultry services. Our main focus will now be our herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats for milk production. We may even try a show or 2 this year but we will see.
