Story time!

When we started bringing the farm back to life, one of my first goals was to find my grandfather's cattle brand and keep it going. I called Bell County records to search for any brands registered in his name and came up empty. Turns out he probably never had one registered — which is pretty common, but still a letdown. That was something I really wanted to carry on.
Then I realized it was actually an opportunity to start something new to honor his farming and ranching legacy.

If you've ever searched for brands, you know "G" brands are everywhere. It makes it tough to find something original. After a lot of sketches and variations, we landed on simple being best: GF.
Simple. Effective. And original — which is hard to find nowadays in the world of cattle brands.

Today we put that GF on one of our own bred & owned Beefmasters for the first time.
Pretty special to start something new, and I have a feeling my grandfather would approve. 😊
